Dr. Steve Sunbury, DVM
Dr. Sunbury was born and raised in Seymour and grew up in a family of vets, following the footsteps of his father, uncle and older brother. He is a 1993 graduate of the Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine and immediately retuned to SAH to begin his career. Steve is actively involved in organized veterinary medicine, previously serving in the leadershhip of the IVMA, Purdue Admissions Committee and currently sits on the Indiana Board of Veterinary Medicine. Steve’s family includes his wife Leisa, grown kids Delaney, Karley and Keegan, and their dog Holly.

Dr. Julie Bobb, DVM
Julie grew up on a farm and always loved spending time with dogs, cats, sheep and horses. She attended Purdue Undergrad & Veterinary School and graduated in 1990, now practicing small animal medicine with dogs and cats. Julie was born and raised in Seymour, IN but after graduating from college, she worked in Bloomington, IN for 2 years, Lexington, KY for 13 years and has now been back in Seymour for the past 19 years. Both her husband and son are named Patrick and she has a dog Hank and 4 cats Felix, Fiona, Frannie and Jellybean. In her free time Julie enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling and spending time with family & friends.
Dr. Sarah Gray, DVM
Dr. Gray does what she does so she can provide the best quality of life to the creatures who stole her heart at such a young age. She got accepted for Purdue’s Veterinary Scholars program where she studied mixed animal medicine. Dr. Gray spends her days bouncing between a variety of appointments ranging from general wellness to sick appointments to even emergency visits and is a member of the national, state and local veterinary medicine associations. Born and raised in Salem, IN, Dr. Gray took a job in Bloomington, IN for four years before she accepted a position at Seymour Animal Hospital. Dr. Gray is married with a son named Owen who is just as in love with animals as his mother and has a dog named Charlie and a cat named Jax. In her free time, she dabbles in a variety of artistic hobbies but enjoys painting the most and does commissioned fine art pieces and custom banner signs.
Kim Bobb, RVT
Kim has wanted to work in veterinary medicine ever since she can remember and grew up showing Weimaraner’s with her grandparents. She’s lived in Seymour, IN her whole life and started volunteering at Seymour Animal Hospital during high school. Once she graduated from the Purdue Veterinary Technician Program, Kim worked at St. Clair Veterinary Clinic for 11 years. After that she started working at Seymour Animal Hospital as an anesthesia/surgery tech and did that for 14 years and has worked with inventory for the past 7 years. She has 4 daughters, 1 son and a dog Marty. In her free time Kim loves watching her kids at their sporting events, boating, wakeboarding and cheering on the Boilermakers in person or watching on TV.
Amy Birk
Amy joined SAH as the Practice Manager in 2014 after moving to Southern Indiana. She had previously managed veterinary clinics in Indianapolis and Ohio. Amy lives in a log cabin in the woods and enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. When she isn’t in the clinic you can find her walking her “bears” around Brown County, and supporting her niece and nephew from the sidelines (even if that means cheering for IU).
Leah H, RVT
Patient Services Supervisor
Leah has brought her pets to Seymour Animal Hospital since she was little and knew she wanted to help animals and their owners understand what’s going on with their pets. She spent 2 years at Harrison College getting her vet tech degree. Leah got married in 2022 and has a small hobby farm with dogs, cats, goats, chickens and fish. She enjoys crocheting and traveling to national parks.

Surgical Services Supervisor
Jessie was born and raised in Westfield, IN and moved to Seymour in 2013. She always wanted to be in veterinary medicine and went to Purdue University for 2 years before transferring to IBC Vet Tech Institute. She is married with 2 boys and a girl and shares a home with 7 horses, 2 dogs and 3 cats! Jessie enjoys rodeoing, roping, camping and anything she can do with her family.
Kaylee R, RVT
Veterinary Technician
Kaylee was born and raised in Lafayette, IN before moving to Columbus, IN. She chose to be a Vet Tech because growing up with animals brought her to want to know more about them. Kaylee got her Associates degree in Veterinary Nursing from Purdue in 2020 and then her Bachelors degree in 2021. She is passionate about advocating for her patients and ensuring they have the best nursing care. Kaylee has 3 siblings and got married in 2024 to start her own family. She has 4 dogs Ozzie, Sterling, Sherman and Sutton. In her free time, Kaylee likes woodworking, crafting and hanging out with friends & family.

Veterinary Technician
Santanna grew up on a farm and always enjoyed working with the animals. She is a registered Vet Tech that enjoys caring for patients. She is married and a mother with an Aussie named Tate. While enjoying her free time, Santanna likes camping and boating.
Sarah W, RVT
Veterinary Technician
Sarah comes from a small sheep farm in Pennsylvania and moved to Columbus, IN after graduating from the State University of New York at the Canton Campus with a Bachelors degree in Science and Veterinary Technology. Seeking the thrill and mystery in each of her patient’s cases is what makes Sarah love her career. On a day to day basis, Sarah educates owners on the health of their animals, carries out doctor requested treatment and of course gives lots of treats and hugs! She got married in 2024 and has a golden retriever Moose. Sarah spends her time outside of work hiking, shopping at Hobby Lobby and working in her garden.

Veterinary Assistant
Addison started volunteering when she was 13 to gain experience to see if she was interested in veterinary medicine. She works as an assistant that does whatever needs done from laundry to running bloodwork. Born and raised in Seymour, IN and is the oldest of 4 siblings in her family. Addison has 3 cats Chevy, Toasty, CeCe and a cow named Coco. Away from work she enjoys babysitting, being with family, helping on her grandparents dairy farm and doing anything outdoors.
Courtney A
Veterinary Assistant
Courtney loves working with animals and helping people better understand what’s going on with their pets. She took a reception/assistant position in Columbus, IN and fell in love with it and decided to make a career out of it. Day to day she helps with the therapy laser and assists doctors and technicians. Courtney married her high school sweetheart in 2015 and then bought her dream home in Brownstown, IN in 2017 and has 2 kids Maddie and Brad. She has 2 dogs Cooper Allen and Tucker Vernon and 4 cats Johnny Cash, Reba, Thackeray Binx and Keith. Courtney enjoys being a mom and ice skating with Maddie.
Grace G
Veterinary Assistant
Grace has always had a special connection with animals and wanted to be able to return the love they showed her. Learning about the behaviors of animals so she can make their experiences better at the vet is what Grace loves. She completed high school a semester early to start college at the Vet Tech Institute and graduated with her vet tech degree in August of 2024. Grace grew up in Hayden, IN and has 3 siblings, 2 nieces, 3 nephews and a loving boyfriend. Her house is filled with 3 dogs Kodi, Novah and Wheezer. Outside of vet work, Grace enjoys hiking and being outside, photography, dog training, Bible studies and softball/volleyball.
Koralin M
Veterinary Assistant
Koralin had the passion for helping and caring for animals since a young age and went to IBC Vet Tech Institute. She spends her time at the office helping with surgeries, dental cleans, diagnostic work and hospitalization care. She’s lived in Seymour, IN her whole life and has a loving family with 2 siblings. When Koralin leaves work, she clocks in at home for another shift taking care of her 3 dogs, 4 cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, fish, a leopard gecko, an axolotl and a bearded dragon! Her free time is spent fishing, reading, running, doing crafts and other outdoor activities.

Cady has always had a passion for helping animals in need and grew up in Seymour, IN. She started working here in high school and got hired after she graduated. Throughout the day, Cady helps keep everything clean to stop the spread of diseases and makes sure to help keep the animals happy when they don’t feel good. She has 3 pets Sully, Smores and Mystery and enjoys playing video games and crocheting in her free time.

Taylor was born and raised in Seymour, IN. Growing up, her parents always took her to zoo’s, aquarium’s and wildlife sanctuaries which played a big part in her interest in animals. Taylor started her journey at Columbus East HS with their veterinary careers C4 pathway doing all three years of vet classes and graduating with technical honors. She’s currently a veterinary assistant but is working toward her technician license at Ivy Tech Madison through their veterinary nursing program. One day Taylor would love to work with more exotic animals like at a zoo and enjoys conservation projects, believing they are important for our planet. While attending college, she lives at home with her mom, dad and little sister along with their 3 dogs Lilo, Bella and Ryder. Taylor spends her free time with crafty activities (mainly crocheting), fishing, hiking, camping with family, gardening and anything hands on.
Delaney T
Veterinary Assistant
Delaney has always loved animals (mainly large) since she was a little girl and knew she wanted to be in the vet field to help animals in any way she could. She did her work-based learning in high school here and loved the clinic so she decided to stay and now helps with appointments and helps assist the doctors. Delaney moved to Seymour from Fort Wayne when she was a few months old and comes from a family of 6 with 1 niece and 2 nephews. She has a dog named Turbo and 2 cats named Big John and Monkey. In her free time, Delaney enjoys cattle, volleyball and hanging with friends.

Heather C
Customer Service Manager
Heather works in customer service because she loves people as much as she loves pets. She was a stay at home mom for 11 years and with her medical experience thought she would enjoy a vet office for her restart in 2008 as the front desk supervisor. Heather was born in Columbus, IN and moved to Seymour, IN in 1996. She has a daughter, a son, 2 bonus daughters, 3 grandkids and a rescue cat Chevy. For Heather, free time is spent traveling, looking for antiques and spending time with family.
Shelby R
Customer Service
Shelby is in the customer service field to provide support and comfort to pet owners while they navigate their pets healthcare needs. She grew up rescuing any animal she could with her mom and was always involved with 4H, FFA and the C4 veterinary program. After high school, she got certified through AKC and spent 4 years training dogs. Shelby was born and raised in Columbus, IN before moving to Freetown, IN in 2024. She has 4 dogs Fargo, Sadie, Gator and Sylvie and enjoys training her dogs, thrifting, camping and baking.

Client Service Receptionist
Kim has always had a passion for helping animals and has had several rescue cats and dogs over the years. She started out as a client but loved the people and the clinic so she applied and got a job. Kim moved to Seymour, IN with her husband Aaron in 2000 after being born and raised in Columbus, IN. At home she has 4 dogs Flearoy, Sammy T. Sprankles, Gilly and Wobble Bean and 4 cats Edgar, Aloy, Noodles and Oatmeal who used to be the SAH office cat! In her free time Kim enjoys jeeping, gaming, traveling and painting.

Customer Service Rep
Starr was born in California and moved to Seymour when she was 6. The houses around where she grew up had cows, horses, cats and dogs and she loved being near them. This motivated her to do 2 years of school to try and become a vet tech but was unable to continue. Starr moved to Utah in 2022 and applied for a receptionist position at a vet clinic and fell in love with the work, realizing it was the career she wanted. She is married with a baby girl and 3 furry friends named Junkyard, Layla and Athena.

Kristen has loved animals since she was a kid. She did the C4 veterinary program in high school and became an assistant right after. She was born and raised in Seymour, IN and is a married mom of 2 boys Karson and Kellan. She has a 14 year old dog Reese and likes spending family time outdoors and traveling.
